Six Students recognized for Leadership

Each year, CFLA faculty and staff select the top academic students in each subject area and, consistent with its mission, also awards top students in each grade level for each of its five values: Courage, Curiosity, Concern, Integrity and Leadership.  Students selected in the last category, leadership, are those who throughout the year have asked the best of themselves and the best of others.  These awards are always difficult to select, as CFLA is blessed to have many, many student leaders.  This years’ leadership awards went to the following students: Malak B. (6th), Cortez F. (7th). Megan G. (8th), Ivan J. (9th), James V. (10th) and Kevin L. (11th).  These six students show leadership in different ways, some lead by taking responsibility, some lead by encouraging others, some show quiet leadership by always doing the right thing even when no one is watching.  Congratulations!
